The National First Aid association of instructors and monitors, established on the 18th of April 1967 is aiming to :
- bring together the instructors, monitors and people participating to first aid teaching to seek the normalisation and the progress of the proceedings and didactic ways applied for teaching first aid
- collaborate with the administrative supervision for the improvment and the rationalization concerning the programs and the methods of first aid teaching
- maintain a relationship with any exterior organisation or persona likely to enhance first aid education
- set up and develop exchanges with international organisations having similar aims as Anims
- ensure the representations of the instructors and monitors with the public authorities
- Defend the main and moral interests of first aid instructors and monitors
The association gathers first aid teachers, whatever their appurtenance. It is not affiliated to any national first aid organisation or association.
Each term, ANIMS edits for its members a magazine called FIRST AID MAGAZINE, main tool of the association.
